JOHN G. KRUCHKO is a graduate of the Law School of the College of William and Mary, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. In addition to his law degree, he holds Masters Degrees in Labor History and Labor Economics. He is the author of two books and numerous articles in the labor and employee relations areas, and is a frequent speaker before legal, business and labor relations organizations. Mr. Kruchko's experience includes serving as a labor law specialist with law firms in Philadelphia and Baltimore. He is a member of the Labor Law Section of the American Bar Association, for which he serves as a management subcommittee chairman.

JAY R. FRIES graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University and received his law degree from the Law School of the College of William and Mary, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. Mr. Fries was employed as a labor law specialist with the Cincinnati firm of Taft, Stettinus and Hollister before joining Kruchko & Fries. He is an active member of the Maryland, Virginia and Baltimore County bar associations, and the Labor Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Fries has authored numerous articles on labor relations topics and frequently participates in employment relations seminars and programs.

PAUL M. LUSKY is a magna cum laude graduate of Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles and was also an editor of the Law Review. Prior to joining our Firm, Mr. Lusky practiced labor law with O'Melveny and Myers in California. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Lusky has authored a book on labor and employment law entitled:  Slam the Door on Employee Lawsuits:  Keep Your Business Out of Court (Career Press, 1998).  He has also written numerous labor relations articles in business, health care and legal journals.

KEVIN B. MCCOY is a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law and a cum laude graduate of Emory and Henry College in Virginia. Before joining the firm, Mr. McCoy served as a judicial law clerk with both the Indiana and Illinois State Courts of Appeal and practiced in the Labor & Employment section of Locke Reynolds, LLP in Indianapolis. Mr. McCoy concentrates his practice on employment litigation and preventive counseling stemming from issues arising under local, state, and federal employment-related statutes.

MARTHA L. HUTZELMAN is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law in Tucson, Arizona. She formerly served as Senior Attorney in the Employee Benefits division of the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D. C. Honored as a Distinguished Author by Tax Management, Inc., Ms. Hutzelman has co-authored the BNA portfolio on Qualified Plans – Taxation of Distributions and the portfolio titled Employee Benefits for Small and Mid-Sized Employers. She is a frequent speaker and author in the area of employee benefits and ERISA. Ms. Hutzelman is Chair of the American Bar Association Joint Committee on Employee Benefits and a Fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.

KATHLEEN A. TALTY received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Trinity College in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and its Labor Law Section. Ms. Talty is a frequent speaker on labor, employee relations and immigration issues before various management organizations.
